AISP Network: Integrated Database on Child and Family Programs in Illinois (archive)

About the Work

Chapin Hall’s Integrated Database on Child and Family Programs operated in Illinois from 1995-2024. The integrated data system connected administrative data on individuals and families from a number of human service partners to paint a portrait of the families who come into contact with child and family serving agencies.

Chapin Hall was known as a leader in the field, with staff who led on innovations in data security and computational algorithms, the use of alternative data sources, and new data governance structures. Chapin Hall data scientists moved to NORC at the University of Chicago in July 2024 and continue to consult with others to improve practice and support cross-program data integration and research.

This page maintains the priorities, projects, and data assets of Chapin Hall while they were in operation.
