AISP leads Data Modernization Initiative workshop in Atlanta
| At the beginning of the month, Director of Training & Technical Assistance, Amy Hawn Nelson and Director of Legal Policy, Deja Kemp facilitated a four-hour workshop on legal and policy considerations for data modernization at the Public Health Informatics Institute’s Data Modernization Initiative (DMI) Governance Bootcamp held in Atlanta, Georgia. The bootcamp brought together 77 DMI leaders across 48 jurisdictions to highlight best practices and offer peer learning opportunities. We had a blast learning alongside so many leaders from across the country. |
Free workshop: Federal privacy basics
Join AISP on May 20 at 1pm ET April for a basic overview of the legal landscape of federal privacy rules and regulations central to sharing individual identifiable information—specifically, 42 CFR Part 2, the Privacy Act & HUD’s HMIS rules. Open to both lawyers and non-lawyers.
