AISP Research Exchange

The AISP Research Exchange convenes researchers from across the AISP Network to talk about their work leveraging integrated administrative data to address key social policy issues. The Research Exchange is overseen by a subcommittee of the National Advisory Committee

Our first in-person Research Exchange meeting took place on June 4, 2024 in Philadelphia, PA during the annual AISP Network Meeting. Members gave rapid fire presentations on applied research that could be replicated to support evidence building in various domains and discussed possibilities for multisite projects.

The Exchange will also gather at the International Population Data Linkage Network Conference in Chicago, IL in September 2024. The group will meet over lunch to debrief from the conference and discuss next steps for convening US researchers in future IPDLN off-years.

Our mission is to cultivate a network of researchers across the United States who leverage integrated administrative data from state and local governments to address high-priority social policy issues. We facilitate knowledge sharing, innovation, and impactful research collaborations through in-person and virtual convenings, domain-specific engagements, and multisite research coordination. Together, we strive to promote ethical data use, that advances evidence, and that supports the needs of state and local agency partners and the individuals, families, and communities they serve. We collaborate closely with the Actionable Intelligence for Social Policy (AISP) network in pursuit of these goals.

Our vision is to foster a vibrant, collaborative community of researchers who drive meaningful advancements in social policy through analysis of integrated administrative data. We aspire to become a hub for knowledge exchange and impact oriented research, fostering innovation and practical solutions in the field of integrated data.

We fill a niche in the data integration ecosystem:
